Harryhausen With Pit @ SDCC!

Pit and the Pendulum poster (click to see it bigger)!We’ve been trying to keep you all up to date on the goings-on with the stop motion animated Pit and Pendulum short film (review), which last told you about here, so sinc it's been a while consider this a return to form.

The film’s director dropped us a line this weekend with the good news that Pit has a lot of screenings lined up, which means a lot of chances for you to see it, but the best of the bunch will be at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, when executive producer/master animator Ray Harryhausen will be participating in the Q&A following a screening! It’s playing at Comic Con on Thursday, July 26th at 3pm, so be sure if you’re going that you’re there to see the film with Harryhausen himself!

Here’s where else you can catch The Pit and Pendulum if you can’t make Comic Con:

  • July 25th - Masters of Animation, Sugar Lounge, NYC, 6:30-9
  • July 30th – Animation Block Party, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Brooklyn, NY, 6:30-9
  • August 11th & August 13th – Dead Channels Film Festival, San Fransisco, CA
