Green & Cornwell Join Xbox's Horror Meets Comedy
Xbox owners have a lot to look forward to in mid-November. Gears of War will be out, a new Dashboard update brings us avatars, and a horror/comedy series will splatter all over LIVE!
Xbox LIVE, sponsored by the U.S. Air Force, plans to host a series of shorts from some of our favorite genre filmmakers during the turkey month called Horror Meets Comedy. Entries from David Slade, James Gunn, and James Wan will be available on November 19th with more to follow. Two such future projects coming our way will be from none other than Hatchet (review) mastermind Adam Green and Peter Cornwell (The Haunting in Connecticut)!
Green will be delivering a "'Cops'-inspired reality show where two human police officers keep order in a land full of storybook villains, magical monsters, and other cartoonish characters. Cornwell will bring his comedic vision to life in "Post Apocalyptic Pizza" which highlights that after a nuclear disaster even the most basic pizza ingredients command extravagant prices and no job is more dangerous than the pizza deliveryman."
These two series will premiere sometime this winter on Xbox LIVE, following Horror Meets Comedy's launch.
