Ghost House Ready to Burst?

Ghost House ready to BurstNow this could be interesting: a horror movie about an alien invasion that causes any human who comes in contact with the invaders to spontaneously combust. And it’s set in the middle of a snowstorm!

The film is called Burst and, according to STYD, is the latest horror ourting in development at the once good idea known as Ghost House Pictures. Of course since 30 Days of Night proved it had legs, the company is finally straying from the J-horror fare that did them so well with the Grudge series, and it sounds like they’re attempting something with a bit more balls.

A director is currently being sought to helm the alien invasion flick, which will have a very serious tone despite the comedy inherent in people randomly bursting into flames. We’ll give you more as it trickles down!

Seriously, why don't they just call it a remake of "Contamination" and cut out the BS.

Well the ending's already a dead giveaway-- We all saw that episode of South Park. All the people will have to do is fart. Although granted they may have to fart on the aliens and we can have a War of the Worlds think happen... It's all good.

Sounds great! Maybe they can get Luigi Cozzi to direct?

I've always been fascinated by the notion of spontaneous combustion -- I'm all over this!
