First Pic of Two Sisters

I really don’t know how I feel about the upcoming remake of A Tale of Two Sisters, coming sometime next year from the Brothers Guard, but maybe it’s because we’ve been burned by so many US remakes of Asian films that just.... don't... get it.

Trepidations notwithstanding, Dreamworks has released the first pic from the Tale of Two Sisters remake, which you can see on your right. As you can see its ... well, its two sisters. On the stairs. How ... chilling?

The plot differs a bit from the Korean original, as is to be expected. This time out, the younger sister Anna has returned home after spending time in a hospital following the death of her mother. Together with her sister, they rally against their father’s new love interest, the former nurse to their mother, and become even more convinced she’s not who she says she is when their mother's ghost visits them, warning them of the woman’s intentions.

While we wait for a release date announcement from Dreamworks, be sure to track down the original, out on DVD from Tartan. An example of what all Asian horror should be!
