First Look at Damned Thing Art!

Those generous ladies and gents over at Anchor Bay were cool enough to forward on a look at the artwork for their next scheduled Masters of Horror release, Tobe Hooper’s “The Damned Thing” (review), this weekend. Pretty snazzy, no?

The story follows a man named Kevin (Sean Patrick Flannery) who, as a boy, watched his parents fall victim to on an inexplicable evil. Still haunted by what happened that horrible night, and now serving as sheriff of the small town he grew up in, Kevin watches in horrors as the violence that ruined his life that night begins to spread over his entire town. He's got to learn its source before the whole community kills one another.

Definitely one of the highlights of Season 2 (if you ignore the CGI mess at the end), the DVD for “The Damned Thing” comes with commentary by screenwriter Richard Christian Matheson, a “making of” featurette, a look behind the FX used to create the aforementioned CG mess, and a bio of Tobe Hooper.
