First Jeepers Creepers 3 Details
Though we last heard about another Jeepers Creepers movie a few months ago (“Jeepers 3 Confirmed” – November 2007), all has been quiet about it thanks to the Writer’s Strike. Now that it’s behind us, details are emerging on Jeepers Creepers 3 in a big way.
Ray Wise told the Chicago Weekend of Horrors crowd that he’ll be returning to the franchise, reprising his role as Jack Taggart from Jeepers Creepers 2. Wise said his character has a big role in it, which was confirmed by Jonathan Breck back at the Austin Fango con.
Writer/director Victor Salva provided Fangoria with even more details; ”It’s tentatively titled Jeepers Creepers 3: The Creeper Walks Among Us.” he revealed to the mag, ”It includes a prologue in the Old West and might bring back several characters from the first two films 20 years later. The script and story will be big on scares and give us plenty more of the traditional Creeper creepiness, with a few more bits thrown in about what it might be and where it came from.”
Could be pretty cool, especially if they’re going to back to the Creeper as an actual scary figure. How they’ll deal with Ray Wise should be interesting, as when we last saw him he was an elderly man overseeing the Creeper’s husk 13 years in the future ... I’m sure we’ll hear more soon!

I dug the first, hated the second. Hopefully this will be ok, not a Tremors 3 style mishap, as many Part 3s seem to be.

The Creeper is one of my favorite modern monsters. Really looking forward to this one -- especially if Breck is involved as well.

Sigh, it just won't end.

As I said before, the first half of JC1 was brilliant - the rest since then has sucked! I hope JC3 works to reclaim the magic of the first half of JC1, because that (for me) is a classic example of horror at its best.

The second movie needed Ray Wise to be the main focus. Seeing him run around in old age make-up for 3 just seems kinda silly.

I liked both 1 & 2 and am looking forward to the 3rd. Still on the fence with origin stories. A lot of them really don't work out all that well.

I'm looking forward to this. I LOVE the first movie, and the second I'd rather forget. I hope the third one reclaims the suspense from the first flick.
