Fine Cut Helps Chaw

Chaw gets some help from Fine CutIt’s not a huge update, but typing the word “chaw” is a helluva lot of fun so I’ll take what I can get. Variety is reporting this morning that Korean sales outfit Fine Cut has jumped on board the Seoul/San Francisco-shot horror/comedy Chaw to get the film out there and find some distribution.

Chaw, you may recall, is the latest film from To Catch a Virgin Ghost helmer Shin Jung-won. It tells the tale of a giant man-eating boar that attacks a small town, leading to bounty hunters, political cover-ups, and lots of messy deaths.

Chaw is in post-production as you read this and scheduled to premiere at the American Film Market in November, so I’m sure we’ll be hearing even more about it soon. Which means more chances to type the word “chaw” so I’m happy!
