Feast Boys Hit the Vineyard
I have to give credit to writers Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan for keeping their asses moving on all sorts of new projects. The other day we told you about their recent sale of two scripts to Dimension, one of which will mark Dunstan’s directorial debut, but they’re not stopping with just movies, oh no sir.
Variety is reporting that the duo have set up a new television series over at Fox called "Vineyard." The show, described as a "campy horror saga," will be about an affluent group of high school kids who become the victims of a mysterious killer on the uber-snobby island known as Martha’s Vineyard. Can’t say I’d mind a show about snobby rich kids being killed off one by one myself.
Melton and Dunstan, you may recall, were the winners of the "Project Greenlight" contest for their script for Feast (DVD review). In addition to "Vineyard." the pair are writing the scripts for both a movie called The Neighbor as well as the aforementioned directorial debut of Dunstan, Midnight Man, both under Dimension.
No word on when "Vineyard" will shoot yet, but if they’re going for authenticity, it will be set on the actual island (the setting for Jaws, in case you were unaware), and being local to it, hopefully we can bring you more goodies soon!
Tell us of the rich kids you'd like to see offed in our forums!
