DeLuca Finds The Thirteenth Hour
Mike DeLuca, former president of production at New Line, is returning to the scaled-down label to produce an adaptation of the forthcoming time-travel thriller The Thirteenth Hour, written by Richard Doetsch, according to this morning’s Variety.
The book and subsequent film follow a man falsely accused of brutally murdering his own wife who's given a chance to figure out what really happened by traveling back in time in one-hour increments. Then it’s just a matter of figuring out who really killed her and why.
The Thirteenth Hour will be DeLuca’s first producing gig with New Line since he left his position there eight years ago; one can’t help but wonder what was so attractive about this film that convinced him to return. He’s currently producing the Alex Proyas film Dracula: Year Zero, among others.
We’ll have more Thirteenth Hour details as they unfold!
