Del Toro is Up for a Change

It was recently reported in a very lengthy article over at Variety that the very talented and always jolly Guillermo del Toro would be involved with a remake of Peter Medak’s 1980 horror flick The Changeling.
This bit of info was pretty buried in the massive story. So, to save everyone the trouble of sifting through the whole article, we’ll just show you the quote, “Rogue also picked up rights to … Guillermo del Toro’s production of The Changeling…“
Details are still scarce about the project or if it will follow the original’s story about a grief stricken man aiding a young boy’s ghost in unraveling the dark secrets of his home. However, the subject matter does feel like it would go hand in hand with the Pan’s Labyrinth (review) director’s style. That and I really want a ghost story that isn’t all about croaking kids and twitchy spooks.
