The folks behind The Dead Matter just updated their MySpace blog with the good news that shooing has wrapped on the film, and post is underway as we speak!
The Dead Matter was directed by Midnight Syndicate founder Edward Douglas and is a remake of a film he made with zero resources back in the day. This time out he had a budget, talent (Tom Savini and Andrew Divoff among them) and badass effects provided by Robert Kurtzman’s Precinct 13. Needless to say, we’re pretty damned psyched for this one.
So editing and other post production work is now underway, with Douglas dividing his time between finishing the film and writing its soundtrack, which will be the next Midnight Syndicate release. Check out a cool behind-the-scenes featurette in our Broadband section and be sure to visit the official Dead Matter site for more pics like the one you see here!
