The redux, which already has a slot on the Sci Fi Channel for its premiere in 2009, is being directed by Donald Borchers, one of the producers on the 1984 original, and will also feature David Anders and Kandyse McClure in starring roles. Hopefully Borchers’ earlier promise of keeping this one scary and the tone serious will be upheld.
