Cloverfield Toy Cancelled?

Over at his other home on Action Figure, our man Nomad just got word from Hasbro that things are in flux on the state of the company’s upcoming Cloverfield monster toy, which may or may not be upcoming now…
He received an e-mail with a status update on the toy, which listed it as both “discontinued” and shipping out sometime in December of this year. Since the toy was supposed to be out this month and not a soul has actually seen one outside of Toyfair, there’s a good chance Hasbro realized that maybe they weren’t the best ones to put this thing out.
Obviously we’ll keep an eye open and let you know when something more solid is understood about the fate of the Cloverfield beast, so keep your eyeballs here!
