Blood: The Last Vampire Gets UK Date
Well, I'm jealous; today we confirmed that Chris Nahon’s Blood: The Last Vampire is getting released in the UK before it sees the light of US cinemas. I’m not whining, it just seems like we should be getting it at least around the same time as our brothers and sisters across the pond, no?
Pathe has set a June 12th, 2009 release date for Blood: The Last Vampire, the live-action adaptation of the incredibly good anime of the same name. Marketing-wise there’s not a lot out there for it yet, save all the stills we’ve been gathering, but with a release date set I’m sure we’ll see a trailer and poster soon.
Blood: The Last Vampire tells of a vampire working for the government who is sent to a military air base during post-WWII to suss out a possible demon living amongst the base’s student population. Stay tuned for more goodies, and hopefully word on US distribution, very soon!
