Benderspink Readies Zombies of Mass Destruction
I’ve always said one sure way we could get out of this conflict in the Middle East is if we could somehow send over a squad of zombies to take care of our enemies. The creators of the comic ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction agree with me, as do the folks at Benderspink, who’ve just nabbed the movie rights for the Red 5 comic according to Variety. Now all we have to do is get the government behind the idea...
ZMD revolves around a weapons program that drops photosensitive zombies into the middle of combat zones to ease the fighting. They’re usually kept under control, but as with all incidents involving the undead, things get out of hand and a team of elite soldiers have to go in and stop the growing zombie army.
The comic was created by Kevin Grevioux, who is responsible for the Underworld franchise, among others. No word on who will direct, but I’m sure they’ll be showing goodies off at Comic Con, which kicks off tomorrow!

Though I’ve yet to see a single episode of “Battlestar Galactica” (ducks), the show is so revered by people whose opinions I respect that I’m sure this is good news for the new Witchblade movie.
