Behind the Scenes of Coraline
Henry Selick’s upcoming stop-motion animated version of Neil Gaiman’s Coraline is probably one of my most anticipated films of the next few years. We’ve been reporting on it for seemingly years now, so the fact that it’s finally being made is fantastic.
The story follows the titular young girl, who is forced to move into a boring new house by her parents. She soon discovers that the house may not be so boring after all when she finds a door that leads to an alternate version of her reality, one where her parents pay attention to her and everyone just wants to make sure she's happy. But there’s something very wrong with this new place...
Rotten Tomatoes have a series of behind-the-scenes videos they’ll be posting over the next few days that will show you all you could want to know about the world of Coraline. Check out the first video below and the rest over at RT. Be sure to hit our Comic Con gallery for a look at the puppets used in the filming, as well!
