Alone Helmer Back for Lesbian Vampires!
I really don’t know if I would be able to consider being stuck in a village full of women who've been enslaved by a vampire curse a bad thing. I mean, women tend to be more seductive when searching for blood, right? I think I could live with that...
Word came down via Variety that Alone helmer Phil Claydon has signed up to direct the horror/comedy Lesbian Vampire Killers, which was written by James Corden & Matthew Horne, creators of the cult British show “Gavin and Stacey”.
The film is set to start shooting this Monday at 3 Mills Studio in London, so obviously this isn’t a new project but rather one that’s been sitting on someone’s backburner for a while now. Oh, and in case you didn’t get it from the first paragraph, the film is about a pair of friends who find themselves stuck in a village overrun by vampire women.

While the Sci-Fi Channel is currently the top network when it comes to premiering B-movie genre fluff, though the Hallmark Network, Ion, and even Lifetime have also been increasingly uncorking some horrific humdingers, Spike TV (AKA the Ultimate Fighting channel) is only starting to make waves in the original movie field.
