25/8 Lead Re-cast
The lead role for Wes Craven’s return to horror, the awkwardly titled 25/8, has been recast according to The Hollywood Reporter this morning.
Dennis Hopper’s son, Henry Lee, was set to make his big screen debut in the film, but since Wes talked about pushing production back but couldn't because of the potential SAG strike, Henry Lee decided to pass on the role and spend some time in California with his friends at home before they’re off to college.
Max Thieriot (Jumper), who also has emo hair, has taken on the role from Hopper as one of seven teens being haunted by a serial killer who supposedly died when they were born. Nick Lashaway (The 40 Year Old Virgin), John Magaro (The Brave One) and Paulina Olszyinski have all joined the cast as well. Shooting is still expected to start up in Connecticut this month so stick around for more soon!
