While we’re still waiting for the full schedule to make itself known to the world, the folks behind Screamfest LA are letting some info slip here and there regarding the upcoming festival. For fans of movies that look like they’re going to kick ass, which I count myself among, they just announced a special advance screening of David Slade’s 30 Days of Night on October 16th, three days prior to its theatrical release!
As promised, FEARNet released the first part of their 30 Days of Night: Blood Trails project to the world wide web today! This online-only video is a prequel to the upcoming feature film bearing the same name (sans Blood Trails of course) that is set for theatrical release on October 19th.
With the hype building for 30 Days of Night, due out in theaters on October 19th, it’s good to know that those of you with Fearnet will be getting a taste of Days horror before anyone else.

Steve Niles has been a busy guy as usual, juggling tons of new projects both in and out of the comic world. Apparently the last few days have been more productive than usual because this morning there are all sorts of cool new goodies over on his MySpace page.
Growing up in a household where movies, music and comics were touted as “wastes of time and money” caused me to carry these ideals into my adulthood. As I matured and began to develop my own sense o
So we’ve got our heroes for David Slade’s upcoming adaptation of Steve Niles’ 30 Days of Night, but who will play our villains? I mean, seriously, Josh Harnett and Melissa George are fine, but I want to know who’s going to be making their Alaskan lives hell...
And this time he don't have Ash or Spidey to watch his ass! Variety reported today that Raimi, fresh off of spinning his latest web, is ready to trade in his director's spandex in favor of producing something with a bit more bite. What does this all mean? Good news for vampire enthusiasts that's what!
