Today we got in the trailer for the indie slasher pic from Jack Messitt, Midnight Movie, which recently took home the prize for Best Feature and Best Cinematography from the Chicago Horror Film Festival!

First Look at Cold Prey DVD!

Last week we gave you all the news that Anchor Bay had acquired the Norwegian snowboarding slasher film Cold Prey for release in the U.S. Today the Bay boys sent us over a great look at the DVD’s cover, which you can dig on your right!

Three New Midnight Movie Posters

Jack Messitt, director of the upcoming slasher Midnight Movie, just sent over a nice, big look at the three posters recently created for the film, which will have its world premiere at the Chicago Film Festival on September 27th.

Yesterday we received word from director Brian Feeney about his debut directorial venture, a film called The Echo Game. Intrigued by the title, I looked into it and discovered what looks to be a pretty classy production with an interesting storyline. Really, what more can you ask for?

Albino Terror Stalks the Rails in Spiker

Doing my occassional snooping about the internet, I stumbled upon the existence of a new slasher flick I was previously unaware of entitled Spiker, about a maniac who lays waste to his victims with railroad spikes. The original title of the film was Blood Rails, but the producers have wisely changed it to Spiker, which I think we can all agree is more direct to the point.
