Anyone on the East Coast knows that the Two Boots Pioneer Theater in New York is pretty much the venue to see hard-to-find, indie, and obscure horror films. Well, with October just around the corner they’ve got a massive amount of horrific goodness planned to make sure you never forget!

Theatre-going-wise the last few weeks have sucked for horror fans. There's been nothing, and I mean nothing, going on. God forbid Lionsgate would have released Repo during this dry spell when it could have made some cash. Anyways, if you're in the California area, we've got something for you to do!

Dark Sky Films has picked up Isidro Ortiz’s Shiver, about an adolescent whose relocation to an isolated village with his mother is tainted when he becomes the main suspect in a series of shocking events.
