Holiday Horror Film Merry Crushed Monday Slashes Up Instagram

Social media is a powerful tool for filmmakers, and few understand that better than Jaiden Frost. Over the course of the past few months he’s been making short films exclusively for Instagram, and he’s got a special treat for the holiday season that we think you’re going to dig.
“Give me 15 seconds of your time, and I’ll have your attention forever!” is Frost’s motto, and he bills himself as the first ever filmmaker to create an Instagram channel devoted solely to creating and posting original horror films made entirely for the platform. Broken into 15-second episodes, the shorts fall into sub-genres like suspense, psychological thrillers, slashers and found footage.
Frost’s latest project, Merry Crushed Monday, just debuted over on his Instagram channel yesterday, a follow-up to his web series Woman Crushed Wednesday. At the time of writing this, the first episode of the series has been uploaded, and it looks to be a holiday slasher in the vein of Black Christmas.
