Twin Peaks – Sheryl Lee and Sherilyn Fenn Returning?

All this “Twin Peaks” news has the majority of us giddy and Matt Fini in a state of perpetual disbelief. Some more casting news has come in, but I think it’s safe to say that all or most of the original cast will be returning for another round in the land of damn fine coffee.
Bloody Disgusting is reporting that both Sherilyn Fenn, who portrayed the beautiful and mysterious Audrey Horne, and Sheryl Lee, who played the infamous Laura Palmer as well as cousin Maddy Ferguson, will be joining the recently announced Kyle MacLachlan in the series.
The nine-episode series will go into production in 2015 for a premiere in 2016 to mark the 25th anniversary of when the series finished its run on ABC. Lynch and Frost are writing and produce all nine episodes with Lynch directing every episode.
The new “Twin Peaks” is set in the present day, more than two decades after the events in the first two seasons. It will continue the lore and story of the original series with Lynch and Frost committed to providing long-awaited answers and, hopefully, a satisfying conclusion to the series.
