Twitter is abuzz with reports from The Twilight Saga: New Moon's press day -- we'll list our recommended tweeters to follow below -- but in the meantime some video interviews with Kristen Stewart and four members of the Wolf Pack just hit online that are sure to get fans talking.

We lost count of exactly how many sequels there were to the werewolf classic The Howling. The troubled series has seen marsupials, freakshows, and even big-breasted sibling werewolves. Just when you thought it was over, the franchise is reborn!

This scribe (pictured right) just got in from a whirlwind visit from the set of 30 Days of Night: Dark Days, which is currently shooting Day 13 of 25 in Vancouver, Canada, and while I can’t spill much yet (although blood was spilled there gratuitously), I can give you an update on casting.

October 31st, the day on which Twilight fans were able to purchase a commemorative The Twilight Saga: New Moon Tour T-shirt and procure a wristband entitling them to attend the New Moon Cast Tour event in their hometown, has come and gone. Just about all the stops are sold out, but some locations will offer Q&A's open to the public. In addition, we now know exactly who will be where (subject to last-minute changes, of course).

Last we heard about Ghost Rider 2, David Goyer said he hadn't signed on yet but plans were already under way to base the sequel on a script he had written previously. Now today comes word that he is confirmed as a producer for the next installment and will polish his nine-year-old screenplay (including reworking its hard R-rated nature for a PG-13 rating), and while the continuity won't necessarily get an overhaul, the tone is certainly shifting.

MTV caught up with Scream franchise writer Kevin Williamson to get whatever goods there are on Scream 4 -- the first in a new trilogy that the Weinsteins hope to bring Wes Craven back to.

November 20th is fast approaching, which means Summit Entertainment will be pulling out all the stops over the next several days to keep the momentum going for The Twilight Saga: New Moon's premiere. On tap for today: a "Meet the Volturi" featurette and details on the November 11th UK fan party that promises devotees a Q&A with director Chris Weitz and stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner.

The Host 2, it seems, has been lingering in pre-production for an eternity. And while today’s story yields another one of those, “yep, it’s coming … eventually” type of updates, there’s also some cool news about an interactive adaptation of the perpetually upcoming sequel.

Saw VI, much to my surprise, turned out to be one of the better films in the franchise, and in honor of it, I thought we’d look at some of the genre’s best sequels. They’re a fact of life when it comes to horror films so here's my take on some of the follow-ups that either usurped the originals or, at least, turned out better than expected. 10. A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987)
