It was starting to look like maybe we’d seen the last of the Resident Evil films and perhaps could go back to just looking forward to the game's sequels. Then Paul W.S. Anderson has to go shoot his mouth off to MTV, and I realize we may never see the end of it...

Wrong Turn 3 Welcomes New Director
Last October we knew that Wrong Turn 3 was most likely on the way thanks in part to Joe Lynch's kickass sequel (review), but it looks like we won't be seeing a return of the fuzzy one to the backwoods of West Virginia.

Mummy's Back Online
I finally saw the full trailer for The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor this weekend on the big screen, the way it was meant to be seen, and I gotta say it doesn’t look as bad as I’d feared. I mean, really, it’s a Mummy movie; as long as it’s fun, it’ll be worth the ticket.

Helena is a Cyborg!
I always knew there was something strange about Helena Bonham Carter, and now I’ve figured out what it is: She’s a cyborg created by Skynet to infiltrate our society and bring down humanity from the inside! Man, Tim Burton’s gonna be pissed.

Saw V Teasing!
Lionsgate has done it again ... created an incredibly effective, incredibly creepy and incredibly badass teaser poster for Saw V. Damn them, I want to get sick of this series already, but they just keep sucking me back in!

Baby Blood Spawns Lady Blood
Our buds over at Quiet Earth directed our attention to a new French film by Wolfpack helmer Jean-Marc Vincent. Turns out Lady Blood is the sequel to the old 1990 flick Baby Blood (review). Bit of a long time to wait for a sequel, amirite?

Host 2 Official
Variety has a story this morning about a sequel to Bong Joon-Ho’s The Host that’s in the works, but it’s hard to tell if it’s still the same hands it’s been in since The Host 2’s inception. It is a Chinese/Korean co-production, but the details of its background aren’t mentioned. Curious

Wreckin' Videos from Final Destination 4 Set!
Director David R. Ellis (Snakes On a Plane) has his work cut out for him. He has to find a way to top all the badass carnage we've seen throughout most of the previous Final Destination flicks. OK, to be honest ... he really only has to top the car crash in FD2. Is that possible?

X-Files: I Want to Believe Panel Transcript!
Love it or hate it, The X-Files was a cultural milestone that brought horror back in a big way. Like the rest of America, I went through the mid-Nineties completely addicted and eagerly anticipated the Friday night paranoia of agents Mulder and Scully. But following the departure of writers Glen Morgan & James Wong and the first big screen movie, the show took a creative nosedive and slowly burnt out through season after season of bad story arcs. Now, seven years later, The X-Files: I Want To Believe hopes to reignite the glory days for a whole new generation.

Exclusive: More Jeepers Creepers 3 Details
The last time we saw the Creeper, he was nailed to a wall with a harpoon gun pointed, happily awaiting his return in 23 years. Just how will the "Bat Outta Hell" manage to escape the trap that has been waiting for him for over two decades?
