In these turbulent economic times, filmmakers - like many business oriented folk - play things pretty close to the vest. They invest thoughtfully and make their moves with a certain amount of secrecy. They do their best to make sure that they have a winner on their hands before they even start thinking about things like sequels or franchises. It just makes good business sense.

Relativity Snags the Strauses' Skyline

Everyone is allowed one crappy movie, and for the brothers Strause theirs is no doubt AVP: Requiem. But you can't write the duo of darkness off just yet as apparently Brett Ratner saw their latest film Skyline and liked it so much that he brought it to a studio and sold it himself. Interesting.

Who would have thought that the first image to hop online for a project by the Brothers Strause would feature the sky getting eerily darker and darker. Of course visibility would eventually be an issue. Oh, the irony!

Two More Sign On to Skyline

Two more actors have signed on to be ill lit in the duo of darkness Colin and Greg Strause's latest project Skyline. Maybe they will come with their own lighting rigs. Anything is possible ya know.
