Wicked Trailer Debut for Vincenzo Natali's Splice

After delivering the goods and garnering a lot of positive buzz during Sundance, Warner Brothers has finally unleashed one hell of a trailer for its latest film Splice. The flick gets released nationwide on June 4th under Warner's Dark Castle Entertainment banner, and all I can say is, wow. Things are lookin' really good.

Finally we have a rock solid date for Vincenzo Natali's Frankenstein-esque creature feature Splice as Warner Brothers has given the film a summer release date of June 4th. Bravo, WB! Can't think of a better way to kick off the hottest season of the year than with some good old fashioned monster mayhem!

Sundance 2010: Splice Object of Service Deal Bidding Battle

There's a battle occurring for distribution rights to Vincenzo Natali's Splice at this year's Sundance film fest, but instead of acquisitions bidding in ever-escalating sums, the producers are being offered service contracts, which seems to be the trend in indie film distribution nowadays.
