While the idea of a RoboCop reboot may not be to everyone’s liking, we can pretty much agree that a kick-ass action movie can stand on its own merit.
The original 1987 RoboCop was written by Edward Neumeier and Michael Miner. Neumeier has said in interviews he first got the idea when he walked past a poster for Blade Runner and the notion of a cop hunting robots was so intriguing that it sparked the idea for him to write about a robot cop.
The remake of RoboCop is looming over us like Justin Bieber menacingly eyeballing a bottle of cough syrup and a mop bucket, and one thing's for sure... neither of them is going away any time soon. We can only hope that both of 'em end up proving us wrong, but for now here's another featurette on the film.

You really have to sit and marvel at the marketing strategy behind RoboCop because I'm not sure I can recall a campaign as bland and tired as this one. And today's clip should successfully stomp out all remaining hope.
