Here at Dread Central we've been closely following every announcement from the upcoming The Profane Exhibit, an anthology film that will feature ten of the most extreme young horror directors in the business today. And now we've got a couple of new stills to keep you drooling over this project.

Dread Central has gotten wind of a secretive project being developed entitled The Profane Exhibit, a new anthology film dealing with the nature of corruption that looks to be a no-holds barred shocker. Although just a few slivers of information have been leaked about this ten-part compilation, what we've seen thus far indicates some serious pushing of the boundaries of good taste, and we've got high hopes for it.

Another slasher flick from Ryan Nicholson is officially on its way to home video and we have all the details you need in order to decide if this is one chick you may want to pick up or not. From the Press Release

Gutterballs and Star Vehicle actor Dan Ellis tipped Dread off last night to his involvement in his latest Plotdigger Films project, The Murder Mack, as well as providing a one-sheet teaser for the feature, which revolves around two convicts whose friendship-made-in prison leads to an "an orgy of murder, mayhem, and torture" upon their release from the big house (according to the film’s PR).

Ryan Nicholson of Plotdigger Films, the writer and director responsible for the 2008 sadistic rape/revenge feature Gutterballs, chatted with Dread Central regarding his next horror ventures, the in-the-can feature film Star Vehicle and his soon-to-shoot slasher flick Famine.

Nothing says horror quite like a bowling alley. Am I right? I mean come on, there are the fat sweaty guys and their wrist protectors, the chicks with sideburns, and all those horrible smelly shoes that millions of unclean fungus-happy feet have made home over the years.

We just received word from indie film producer Dan Walton, the man behind Upcoming Horror Movies and the upcoming Macabre Con, that shooting on his next production, the Ryan Nicholson-helmed Hanger, is looking at a November start date.
