Robert Englund
You see? Now this is what we're talking about! Some good old fashioned gore to help us get through the day. Hope you're ready for some red, kids, as there's a lot of it in this latest batch of images from Glenn Ciano's Inkubus starring Robert Englund!
Starring Mike Bradecich, John LaFlamboy, Robert Englund, Justin DiGiacomo, Mary Seibel, T.J.
Back in 1977 a young Robert Englund co-starred in Tobe Hooper’s Eaten Alive about a backwoods maniac feeding people to a crocodile. A quarter century later, Englund will be back contending with crocodiles in Lake Placid: The Final Chapter. And a former “Angel” star will be joining him.
There's been a lot of eye candy on display when it comes to everything we've seen thus far for the upcoming horror comedy Strippers vs. Werewolves, but this trailer takes the cake. And eats it.
A week ago or so everybody was reporting on some tiny unfinished sales art for the upcoming horror comedy Strippers vs. Werewolves. No worries, kids! We have the real deal goods for you right here, right now. Dig it!
AFM is rapidly approaching, and you know what that means ... news overload regarding both new projects and flicks we've been talking about for a while now. Next out of the gate are three new stills and a tiny sliver of artwork for Strippers vs. Werewolves.
Starring Robert Englund, William Forsythe, Joey Fatone, Michelle Ray Smith, Jonathan Silverman, Mike Cerrone, Tom DeNucci
Directed by Glenn Ciano
If Rock and Shock 2011 doesn't get here soon Glenn Ciano is going to burst. Why is that, you ask? Because Glenn makes his feature film directorial debut with Inkubus, and the film will be having its world premiere this Saturday night at Rock and Shock 2011 in Worchester, MA and he can't wait to unleash Inkubus on the unsuspecting world.
You know a horror character has truly achieved iconic status when his likeness has become a staple of Halloween costuming and he gets mainstream musical acts singing songs about him. Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees both achieved that status back in the latter half of the 80’s, and they did it with a little help from The Fat Boys and Alice Cooper.
Starring Heather Langenkamp, Robert Englund, Wes Craven, Tom Kircher
Directed by Arlene Marechal
When Doctor Gash interviewed Glenn Ciano recently, the Inkubus director mentioned the film was scheduled for a theatrical release in at least nine cities starting on October 28th, and now we know what company will be handling said release: Screen Media, who is rolling out the flick the pre-Halloween weekend in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Florida, and California.
In The Mole Man of Belmont Avenue (which has to be one of the catchier names on the indie horror scene these days), we meet down on their luck brothers Jarman (LaFlamboy) and Marion (Bradecich). Following a failed stint raising llamas, Jarman has just returned to the rapidly depopulating Chicago building managed by his deadpan brother, Marion, who's got his own struggles to contend with.
"You've got the body…I've got the brains." That was the scene that did it for me. We've all got our favorite Freddy Krueger moment ... Nancy in the bathtub, Johnny Depp getting sucked into the bed, the cockroach transformation scene or even "Welcome to prime time, bitch!". But the one that stuck with me was Krueger peeling back the top of his head, revealing a pulsing brain, while reciting that line to a screaming Jesse in A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge.
Glenn Ciano will not be stopped. With an incredibly infectious energy level and a "by any means necessary" filmmaking attitude, this director is brimming with excitement about the theatrical release of his first feature film. And the lucky bastards at this year's Rock and Shock horror movie and music convention, will be the first to bear witness to Ciano's creation, Inkubus starring Robert Englund.
