Looking to further expand upon the possession craze that has begun sweeping the horror community as of late, Lionsgate and Lakeshore Entertainment have partnered to get the ball rolling on the next bit of the devil made them do it mayhem.

One project that's been on our radar for a long while now is the Eli Roth produced possession film Cotton. Now that the first few images of the film have oozed out of AFM, we're even more stoked! Synopsis Disillusioned by years of defrauding poor believers of their hard-earned cash, evangelical preacher Cotton Marcus decides to put the record straight by producing a spectacular documentary.

If this trailer is any indication of the finished product, the indie zombie/ghost/possession flick Haunting Kira looks like it could be a pretty fun ride. We've been deceived before, to be sure, but I'm curious to see more of this one. Come inside and check this one out.

Here's a question ... Once you've watched The Exorcist: The Version You Have Never Seen, do you get mad every time that you look at the box and notice that it's now lying to you, or do you just accept the "version you have never seen" statement as one of the devil's tricks?

Shane Meadows isn’t a filmmaker whose name is typically associated with our beloved genre. One glance at his IMDb resume reveals as much. But those guys are the ones who can occasionally surprise you with something truly special (not to mention I’ve heard raves about his 2004 revenge drama Dead Man’s Shoes). While Meadows isn’t necessarily a "horror guy", his upcoming flick certainly sounds like something that we’ll all be curious to see.

Remember when Sarah Michelle Gellar was the kind of star who seemed fun to be around? She had charisma by the boatload on "Buffy", but as soon as she moved on to the big screen, she inexplicably left it all behind. Now all we have is the pensive looking Gellar who needs to wear a white turtleneck and scarf in every film. The downward spiral continues as her latest movie Possession has been exorcised to home video.

Sorry to ruin all the fun, but there's no use pretending this isn't a viral video to promote the upcoming release of David Goyer's The Unborn; you guys are way too smart for that, right? And since it references me specifically at one point, there's no way you'd think it was real...
