The guys over at STYD got some kinda odd news regarding Marcus Dunstan’s directorial debut, “>Midnight Man. Seems that despite the success of the Saw he and partner Patrick Melton wrote, they won’t be seeing Midnight Man in theaters.
Dimension Extreme will be releasing Midnight Man direct to DVD at some point in the near future. No word on when, what will be on it, or why they’re not willing to give the flick a theatrical shake, but at least we’ll all be able to check it out … together.
Midnight Man is the story of a desperate man who breaks into the home of his wealthy boss to steal a jewel that will get him enough money to pay off his ex-wife. But he picked a bad night to do it; he finds that the family has been tied up by a masked killer who’s rigged the house with traps, and now he has to help them and survive the night at the same time.
