UPDATE:Yesterday I noticed that there was already conflicting information out there about the new Creepshow series, but it was kind of hard to care after learning Taurus Entertainment was involved. So, we just ran with the press release and let it be.
Then we got an e-mail in from HDFilms saying the show is actually called Creepshow: Raw (official site) and that logo above is not official. On top of that, the press release that was sent out was some kind of big no-no on the part of Taurus Entertainment and this series will have nothing to do with their embarrassing Creepshow 3, neither in style or direction (Yay!).
I’d love to give HDFilms a chance to clean out the bad taste James Dudelson and Ana Clavell left in my mouth, and that may be the case now that we’ve learned Taurus is only here as executive producer with no creative ties to the show. But for right now, it’s probably best to just wait for something more tangible to come around … like a trailer. In the meantime, enjoy the three production stills we got in below.
Hey Kids! Remember those fine folks at Taurus Entertainment? Yeah, the ones that brought us the “>Creepshow 3 (review) along with other “in-name-only” straight to video flicks. Well, James Dudelson and Ana Clavell aren’t done yet.
No, that image you see to the right isn’t something we threw together just for this story, that’s the actual art that came with the press release today. Taurus Entertainment has really just complete the pilot episode for Creepshow: The Series with Wilmer “That ’70s Show” Valderrama at the helm! Set to air on MIP TV, Valderrama’s directorial debut will star Michael Madsen and “Reno 9-11” beauty, Wendi McLendon-Covey.
Further details on the show weren’t set along with press release, but as soon as it’s available on MIP TV, we will be sure to let you know.
