Already missing “The Walking Dead”? Well, have no fear because we’ve got a news bite on tap for you today that is sure to ease the sadness. So read on for the latest happenings in the zombie-infested universe that we all love so damn much!

If you watched “Talking Dead” this past Sunday, you may have heard Robert Kirkman spill some beans about the future of “The Walking Dead” as he revealed that a brand new character is soon going to be joining our beloved band of survivors. He broke the news when asked about Daryl Dixon’s sexuality, which for some reason has been a hot topic of fan discussion.

I can make it official; Daryl Dixon is actually straight, but coming back in the next half of the season we’re going to be introducing a very prominent gay character from the comics that’ll be debuting,” said Kirkman.

It’s likely that Kirkman is referring to a character named Aaron (below), who first appeared in Issue #67 of the comic series he created. Aaron is a resident of the Alexandria Safe-Zone community, which is rumored to be a main setting in the fifth season’s second half.
