Rest in Peace Richard Attenborough

The Devil's Carnival Episode 2 in Production; David Hasselhoff Joins CastIn 1997 legendary actor Richard Attenborough helped us all believe that dinosaurs could once again peacefully walk the Earth in Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park. It is with a heavy heart that we report today he is no longer with us.

The BBC is reporting that Attenborough, who played the lovable if not a little bit mad John Hammond in the movie, has passed on at the age of 90 (he would have been 91 on the 29th of this month).

He was also an Oscar winning director for 1982’s Gandhi and helmed 1978’s Magic, starring Anthony Hopkins in a memorable role.

Confined to a wheelchair after suffering a stroke in 2008, Attenborough has finally found peace and we have no doubt he has brought every ounce of his wisdom and charm to the heavens above.

He will be sorely missed. At this time Dread Central would like to extend our deepest of sympathies to Richard’s friends, family, and constituents. Thank you for all of the memories, good sir. Rest easy.
