AFM 2014: Alice D Gets New Posters

We’ve been talking about Alice D for a good long while now on Dread Central, and today we have a couple of bits of eye candy for you! Just in time for Halloween and AFM 2014, we have a pair of new one-sheets! Dig ’em!

Award-winning indie horror film ALICE D has two new posters that are sure to intrigue fans.
The film won the Grand Jury prize, Best Feature at the Rhode Island International Horror Film Festival (RIIF). Alice D also won Best Horror Film at the IFS Film Festival. It was nominated for Best Feature, Best Writer (Jessica Sonneborn), Best Score, Best Sound (Carlos Vivas), and Best Actor (Juan Riedinger) at the Chicago Horror Film Festival. The haunting tale has also been nominated at the Innovative Film Festival for Best Director (Jessica Sonneborn), Best Feature, Best Actor (Aaron Massey), Best Actress (Megan Hensley), and Best Cinematography. The film further earned the coveted opening night screening slot at Los Angeles’ renowned Shriekfest Horror Film Festival.
ALICE D begins in the late 1890’s, when the Davenport House was a successful brothel, until a young girl sold into prostitution kills herself there. After inheriting and renovating the old mansion more than a century later, a Davenport descendant decides to throw a wild party in the house despite rumors it’s haunted by the vengeful Alice.
The 85-minute chiller comes from writer/director Jessica Sonneborn (Lure, House Across the Street), who also stars and co-produces along with Kristina Page (Money Shot, The Penny Dreadful Picture Show) under their Two Chick Pix banner. The team also included producers Christopher Maltauro (Bloody Bloody Bible Camp) and Josh Hammond (Jeepers Creepers II), who appears in the film as well. To create the eerie world, the film delivers spectacular cinematography by Eric Latek (Tiger), an original, haunting score by Carlos Vivas (Never Open the Door), and practical SFX make-up by George Troester (Ender’s Game, “Face Off”).
The cast is like a who’s who of indie film, including the legendary Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th franchise, Se7en), Al Snow (Piranha Sharks, WWE Wrestler), Juan Riedinger (Jennifer’s Body), Chanel Ryan (Bad Kids Go to Hell), Eliza Swenson (Dorothy and the Witches of Oz), Sarah Nicklin (Exhumed), and Michael Reed (The Disco Exorcist).
