Frank Grillo Waits Beyond Skyline

We’re still not sure just who was clamoring for a sequel to Skyline, but it’s definitely heading in the right direction in terms of casting news. Latino Review is reporting that The Purge: Anarchy‘s Frank Grillo will star in the next chapter of the interstellar flick, which is known now as Beyond Skyline.

Liam O’Donnell, who worked on some effects no one could see due to the apparent lack of a lighting rig in Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem and others that people could see in Iron Man 2, is directing. He co-wrote the screenplay with Joshua Cordes. The duo wrote the first film, too.

Latino is also reporting that supposedly the sequel’s storyline takes place at the same time the first one did.
