Fringe Set for Fox

Alex Graves, director of Fringe pilotThough it’s not exactly news, since it was mentioned in the first story we did on the show, Variety included Fox’s “pickup” of JJ Abrams’ new show, “Fringe”, in an article today about recent network acquisitions.

The show is about an FBI agent working with an institutionalized scientist when a rash of weird shit starts going down. In layman’s terms.

The show was first announced back in November (click on the “Fringe” link at the top of the story to read it), before the 2-hour pilot was shot by Alex Graves (pictured), at which point Fox had done a series commitment to it already. So, again, not really news, but at least it’s good to know the show will be coming to us soon!

Not that it’s too surprising, but there’s already a pretty extensive fansite for “Fringe” that you can check out right here if you’re looking for more news and info about the show since its announcement. We’ll be bringing you more on “Fringe” soon as well so keep it here, too!
