Without the primary colors of Suspiria or the candy-colored hues of Inferno, this just doesn’t look like an entry into the Mothers trilogy, which really breaks my heart. I’m a die-hard Argento fan, I own every film he’s made (including imports of things not available in the US), and I really don’t want to be let down by the final chapter to what is honestly the series that made me fall in love with cinematography. I’ll still see it, but I’m really worried it’ll be a film too much along the lines of Argeto’s latest films. Also, I think casting his daughter yet again wasn’t the wisest idea. I like Asia a lot, but I’m tired of seeing her in his films. I am very pleased with the return of Udo Kier, however!
