The Puppet to Pull Some Strings in Korea
Time to spice up your Friday morning by adding a little Korean barbecue to it. Well, not really, but you have to admit it does sound tasty! Either way, on your menu right now are the international trailer and artwork for the new scarefest The Puppet.
The film, helmed by first-time director Kwon Yeong-rak, opens in Korea on June 20th.
Psychiatrist Ji-hoon doesn't believe in love. One day his friend's girlfriend Hyeon-jin comes to him with a serious psychological problem . Ji-hoon attempts to hypnotize her but runs into something inside her and learns about her terrible past. Hyeon-jin makes great progress with the treatment, but the more Ji-hoon sees her, the more obsessed he becomes. In the end, he hypnotizes her to come and see him every Sunday at 3PM no matter what, and she does so, as if hypnotized. But is she really. Or is something else in control??
