*UPDATED* The Zodiac Flies High

Though the Zodiac killer has already been featured in a few films, that doesn’t mean a talented director, in this case David Fincher (Fight Club and Se7en), can’t take a whack at it.
Bloody Disgusting this evening posted an image of a large billboard teasing us with the Zodiac film starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Robert Downey, Jr. The billboard is hanging from one of the Paramount Studios buildings in California.
The teaser poster B-D found certainly looks attractive but doesn’t really have a Zodiac feel to it. The name’s there complete with symbol, but it feels a bit generic. Maybe all the good ideas were taken? Personally I prefer the one you see to the right.

Our buds at JoBlo nailed down a much better look at the official poster. I still like the one to the right better.
The mysterious killer will live once again in January of 2007. You’d better start boning up on your history and Greek symbols.
