Magnolia Takes a Donkey Punch

Few things make me smile more than being able to use the term Donkey Punch on our website and have it be news. It’s fun to write, and it’s even more fun to say. Look at the person next to you and try it … donkey punch. See what I mean?
Anyway … Variety reports today that Magnolia Pictures has acquired the rights to distribute the Olly Blackburn film as part of its Magnet Releasing label for release later this year.
Donkey Punch chronicles the steady descent into madness among a group of night-clubbers on a luxury yacht in the Mediterranean. Sounds like fun? Maybe even more fun than saying its title over and over?
That remains to be seen.
