As Darren Lynn Bousman finalizes the editing on Repo! The Genetic Oprea, it sounds like he’s starting to really wonder just how the general populace will react to it. It’s an all-singing horror movie, for God’s sake, I guess you can’t blame him.
Not that he’s worried, oh no. If anything his latest MySpace blog is full of confidence and overwhelming love for his movie, something you just don’t see very often out of directors these days. You see, he has to show Repo! to studio heads next week, so right now is probably incredibly nerve wracking, especially since he’s created something as unlike anything else as Repo!. Here’s hoping it goes well, Darren!
To celebrate the film being almost done, Bousman also posted a very cool timeline of the origins of his genetic opera on the aforementioned blog post, starting with its first incarnation almost a decade ago. Be sure to check it out, and when you’re done, give a listen to our interview with the Repo! cast and crew to see how much they loved making it.
Oh, and check out the trailer below!
