Resident Evil: Extinction (2007)

Milla Jovovich is back as the genetically altered zombie ass-kicker Alice in a story that gets about as far from the games upon which it’s based as is possible. Still, I didn’t hear anything too terrible about it, and it certainly couldn’t have been worse than the second film in the series, right? Lots of features come on this one, as is Sony’s way. Solstice (2007)

The first film Myrick did solo after Blair Witch Project is actually the second to be released (the first was the Raw Feed film Believers). Strange how things work; all this time and it’s still a victim to the generic floating heads cover. The story is about a girl who looses her twin sister and, less than a year later, learns of a creole spell that could bring her back from the beyond. Needless to say things don’t go well.
