Animated From Inside Close to Finished

There are times, running this site, that I feel very well-connected to most levels of what’s going on in our beloved genre. Then there are times when I feel like an uncultured heathen with barely a grasp on what’s happening around me. Usually the latter happens after a visit to Twitch Film.
Example: Checking out the site today I learned for the first time about an upcoming animated movie called From Inside directed by John Bergin, based on his graphic novel of the same name. The story follows a pregnant women on a train travelling across a wasted, desolate landscape and the hard realizations she comes to when facing an uncertain future.
And there are a lot of dead bodies, too.
Anyway, the film’s been being animated by Bergin himself for the past 2 ½ years and finally he updated his blog on December 20th with the good news that he has made his final render on the movie. It’s not done yet, a score and some tweaking still needs to happen but, as he puts it “the heavy lifting is over”.
