Producer Confirms Diary Sequel

Talk about fast! Though Romero’s revitalization of his beloved zombie mythos hasn’t even been released yet, long time Romero producer Peter Grunwald (Bruiser, Land of the Dead) is already talking sequel!
Fangoria chatted with Peter about the the next chapter in the new Dead series.
“This will be a true sequel,” he tells Fango, “the next chapter in the adventure that began with Diary, with many of the same characters and actors. It’s the first time George has done that with one of his Dead films, and it’s going to be a really cool, interesting departure.
The film will be shot in the first person, and in HD, like DIARY, but the themes will shift and broaden,” Grunwald continues. “George has always tried not to repeat himself and he never makes a film unless he has something to say, but you’ll have to wait till the script leaks on-line to find out what he’s up to this time. And the film will be shot in Canada. Details to follow.”
