Been wondering just what hell has been going on with Douglas Buck’s feature debut, the remake of Brian DePalma’s Sisters? Well even if you haven’t, we’re going to tell ya anyway, so deal with it!
Fangoria got to chat with the man, who provided them with the first three stills from the remake (hit the link to see the other two), and he revealed that the film will be finished on October 10th, immediately after which Buck will jump on a plane and head to Sitges, where Sisters will make its world premiere and go on to play three days while in competition. It will make its North American debut on October 25th at the Montreal Festival of New Media.
The film is about a young woman named Angelique under the influence of a controlling psychiatrist. When a reporter gets too curious and begins to look into the girl’s life, she witnesses a brutal killing and discovers the truth about Angelique.
