Colm Meaney Falls Victim to The Occult

The casting news continues for The Occult as a "Hell on Wheels" regular is ready to join in on the hunt for the devil's daughter. Kind of appropriate in some strange way, no?

According to THR Colm Meaney (pictured right) has joined the cast of The Occult, an indie thriller from LD Entertainment.

Rufus Sewell and Anne Heche are already on board the project, which details the strange goings-on within a religious cult.

The story follows a small commune dealing with a prophecy that predicts the coming of the devil's daughter. As the shared 18th birthday of five girls approaches, a sequence of murders causes panic to spread through the community, making some wonder whether the prophecy is coming true or if someone is silencing those who know too much.

The flick will go into production this month in North Carolina. More as it comes. Christian Christiansen is directing. Mickey Liddell is producing.
