Dead Island - Pre-Order Bonus / First DLC Announced!

Dead Island. This game just cannot get here fast enough. It may be a long way down the road, but the good folks over at Deep Silver have announced just what gamers can expect should they pre-order from GameStop.
This special edition is available for pre-order customers at GameStop only and includes a token for the upcoming "Bloodbath Arena" DLC. The "Bloodbath Arena" pack features single and multi-player challenges in four different arenas. Experience points and items that are earned can be carried over into single and multi-player campaigns. It also includes a new weapon - the Brain Wave Bomb.
The "Bloodbath Arena" DLC will be available after launch for $10.

The player is drawn into the world of Dead Island on the brink of a mysterious epidemic that suddenly, and without warning, breaks out on the fictional island of Banoi. As a guest of the Royal Palms Resort, the player's stay was supposed to be a dream holiday, a luxurious getaway to the beautiful beaches of a tropical paradise. But faced with the reality of a zombie apocalypse, there is only one thing left to do: Survive.

well E3 is just around the corner so we should have a defite release date alot of people are speculating it wont come out until 2012 which i hope not i cant wait for this anymore

According to Amazon, September 30th, but I've seen August 1st mentioned other places. Seems to not be confirmed yet.

Yeah it's pretty up in the air right now. Though several dates have been mentioned we've yet to see any official confirmation.
