Official One-Sheet and More - Cameron Romero's Radical
Don't ever say we don't work quickly when a new project hits our radar that we think is cool enough to warrant a follow-up! That's right, kids! Get ready for the first official details and artwork for Cameron Romero's Radical.
Radical centers on the story of three members of the American press being held captive by a calculating terrorist who taunts the US government with his arrogance and technological savvy.
The isolation piece stars Tom Sizemore (Saving Private Ryan, Heat), Ford Austin (Dahmer vs. Gacy, The Auctioneers), Josh Carmichael, Shahe Assilian and BJ Hendricks (The Great Buck Howard, Staunton Hill) and marks a reunion for many cast members who have worked with Romero in the past.
When asked about the content of the film, Romero is quoted as saying, “Radical is a film that is just that. We [Romero, Hendricks and Austin] had been talking about pulling the trigger on a project for some time, and when the uprising in Egypt started, a light bulb went off, you know. This is the real horror that people go through every day around the world, and the media always seem to cover it from a higher place or a conceptual level. I think it’s because it seems unbearable to think about individuals who go through horrible experiences and what it must be like during that time for them. That’s where RADICAL came from.”
A proponent of the new DSLR technology, Romero shot Radical entirely on Canon 5D and 7D DSLR cameras with support graciously provided by Brian Valente from Red Rock Micro and Eric Kessler from Kessler Crane, who rush shipped equipment to Romero for use on the film.
