The Car Ready to Drop Off Some Terror

Remember the 1977 film The Car? Well, good! Keep those memories intact because this is NOT a remake of it! Oh, how we love original films! Director Sean McConville (Deadline) is ready to rev up his horror muscles once again in his latest film of the same name, The Car.

With a few borrowed elements from films like Christine and others, The Car tells the story of Ryan Davies, a newly released mental patient (gotta love them) who is encouraged to cherry out a classic car as part of his rehab. You know, you just have to keep the loonies busy or else they could get all murderous and stuff. In any event, the car he chooses to restore ends up being haunted by the spirit of a girl who died in it. Finger pointing, accusations, and lunacy ensues.
